Join me in Hazon's 8th annual NY Jewish Environmental Bike Ride and 2008 Fall Arava Institute Hazon Israel Ride

So you know I am into riding my bike. Over the next four month, I will be challenging myself by participating in two amazing events.

The first is over Labor Day weekend, I’m planning to be one of over 250 riders in Hazon’s 2008 Jewish Environmental Bike Ride! We will ride 150 miles into Manhattan over two days.

This November, I will be one of 125 riders venturing out on a ride that will sure to test my limints; a 300 mile ride from Jerusalem to Eilat.

Participating in both rides means that I need to train for them together and fundraise raise together.

I have taken on these challenges to help raise environmental awareness, and to add the Jewish community's voice to calls for environmental responsibility. The money raised from these Rides will be used to support Hazon’s year-round work in the Jewish community and the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies in Israel.
